The Jaufenhaus refuge lies along the street taking to Passo Giovo, between Merano and Vipiteno, at 2000 m above sea level. This itinerary is particularly appreciated by motorcyclists, because of its unique landscape and of its numerous curves and hairpin bends. The refuge is also ideal for skiers: in fact, it lies close to the Giovo-Racines ski area, featuring downhill run, snowboard and sledge slopes and cross-country trails.
The refuge features 80 beds: you can choose among double, triple and four-bed rooms.
The tasty typical dishes are served in a broad dining room, and there is also a comfortable ?Stube? with sat-TV where you can spend pleasant evenings with your friends.
In the evening there are also parties and entertainment? ideal for the après-ski.
The refuge is open all year round and is equipped with a broad free garage.
