Hotel Masl

Hotel Masl is a cosy, family-run 4-star S hotel located at an altitude of 1,300 metres in Valles, nestled in the magnificent mountain landscape of the Pustertal valley, in the Rio Pusteria ski & hut holiday area.

If in summer the area invites you to go hiking or cycling, in winter you can ski, snowshoe and toboggan. The Gitschberg Jochtal ski area can be reached with skis on your feet directly from Masl: the ski lift is located directly in front of the building. There are also cross-country ski trails, hiking trails and a toboggan run in the immediate vicinity. Its strategic location also makes it close to important cultural centres such as Brunico, Bressanone and Vipiteno, famous for their traditional Christmas markets.

The 3-storey wellness centre with more than 2,000 square metres has an indoor pool that connects directly to the heated outdoor pool, whirlpools, a Kneipp path, fitness room, six different saunas, a relaxation room made of antique wood with heated water beds, a sunbathing lawn and a fully equipped gym. Here you can indulge in Alpine Wellness treatments, hay baths or massages, while enjoying a breathtaking panoramic view.

A holiday at the Alpin Hotel Masl in Valles also means discovering the most genuine and true flavours of the region: every dish is made with high-quality local products lovingly prepared by the chefs to create sublime South Tyrolean and Italian culinary creations, paired with excellent wines from the cellar. Vegetarian, gluten- and lactose-free dishes are available on request. At the end of the evening, the Masl bar awaits you for a drink in company. There are theme evenings, front-cooking stations with culinary specialities, regional and Mediterranean delicacies and, once a week, buffets with desserts and cheese selections.

During the summer, don't miss the guided excursion to the hotel's own hut in the Malga Fane village. A unique opportunity to learn about Tyrolean tradition: after the walk and visit to the hut, an original Tyrolean snack will be offered.

At guests' disposal: ski depot, Almencard, a varied programme of guided hikes in every season, sledge and bobsleigh hire, MTB hire, trekking poles and e-bikes (for a fee). Dogs are welcome.
