For 15 editions, the Under Armour Lake Kaltern Half Marathon has been a magnet for many runners, local and otherwise. Now the organising committee has decided to offer something new and has replaced the event with a new event: the first Lake Kaltern Run intends to build on the success of the previous event. The biggest change from the Under Armour Lake Kaltern Half Marathon will concern the route. In fact, the start will no longer take place in the immediate vicinity of the warmest swimming lake in the Alps, but at the town hall square in Tramin.
From Tramin, the runners will head north and shortly afterwards run around Lake Kaltern in a clockwise direction, i.e. in the opposite direction to previous years. It will then head back towards the town hall square in Tramin, where the finish line will be reached. The route is 14.8 km long.
The winners will be rewarded at the Tramin festival square. After the finish at the Town Hall Square in Tramin, the prize-giving ceremony and closing party will take place in the nearby Feteplatz, where the raffle prizes will also be awarded.
Gewürztraminer Run
4 km for the non-competitive fun run. This run will also start and finish at the Town Hall Square in Tramin.
Race for children and young people
There will also be a race for children and young people.
