Terme di Comano lies between Lake Garda and the Brenta Dolomites, and between the nature reserve of the Parco Naturale Adamello Brenta and the Val Lomasona valley. The area includes the three plateaus of Banale, Bleggio and Lomaso. It is a valley famous for its thermal waters, hot springs of health and wellness unique in Italy for their always constant temperature. Known since the Roman period, these waters are ideal to cure dermatitis, allergies and psoriasis of children and adults. Here you will find two of the hamlets considered among the most beautiful of Italy and thus included in Borghi più belli d'Italia: Rango and San Lorenzo in Banale, with the typical stone and wood architecture, perfect for a quiet and simple holiday. The villages surrounded by ancient strongholds, and nowadays these castles come back to life with early music concerts, guided tours and historical reenactments. The whole territory is crossed by lovely trails of different difficulty levels, from easy paths on the valley floors, to high altitude trekking and climbing: a true training ground for all those who love ropes and ice-axes. The resort offers 400 climbing routes you can explore from spring to autumn. You can practice sport fishing in the streams, and if you love horseback riding there are also trails going towards the mountain refuges and the typical Alpine summer houses called malghe. Moreover, this is the reign of mountain bikers, who can choose among eleven trails and two downhill tracks always offering new challenges and different inclines. If this is not enough, here you find the Dolomiti di Brenta Bike: a 171 km long mountain bike tour through the nature reserve of the Parco Naturale Adamello Brenta. For the kids there are vast spaces, incredible adventures, treasures to discover and irresistible entertainment programs designed especially for them.
A holiday here is also a journey into the culinary traditions: the area in fact adheres to the principles of the Slow Food movement. Ancient and irresistible recipes will please even the most demanding palates: from the ciuìga (a salami), to the walnut of Bleggio, from the potatoes to the Spressa (a cheese), and of course excellent wines like the Rebo red wine and the Kerner white wine, all products you find along the Wine and flavours routes.
