Skiing in Valsugana: Panarotta 2002 and Brocon Pass
The Valsugana ski area, at the foot of the imposing Lagorai, is expressly designed for youths and families and offers an excellent alternative to all winter sport lovers looking for perfect slopes away from the more crowded ski areas. The area includes two ski resorts: Panarotta 2002 and Funivie Lagorai.
Ski Area Panarotta 2002
Panarotta 2002, near Levico Terme, offers sunny slopes of easy and medium difficulty levels, a snowmaking system, a ski school with classes for kids and a snowboard park. In Funivie Lagorai, on the Brocon Pass, you will find a second snowboard park, the LGR Playground, and three floodlit slopes for nighttime skiing. If you love cross-country skiing, you have at your disposal the trails on the wonderful Vezzena plateau.
More than skiing
The wonderful landscape is the ideal background for many activities besides skiing: a holiday in the Valsugana valley is in fact the perfect chance to practice snowshoeing, even in the evenings if you like, and ski mountaineering, but you can also try exciting alternative sports like ice climbing.
