Madonna di Campiglio ski area
One of the most exclusive and prestigious ski resorts in the Dolomites, famous for its ski runs and lift facilities, for the beauty of the landscape, the high quality of its accommodation facilities and a long well-established tradition in hospitality, Madonna di Campiglio is a classic destination for winter holidays, a dream for all those who love winter sports! Included in the Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta, it is located in the western Trentino, in the Val Rendena valley, surrounded by the wonderful peaks of the Brenta Dolomites and the Presanella Group.
Known as the Pearl of the Dolomites, Madonna di Campiglio is the queen of winter sports. With state-of-the-art lift facilities, always perfectly groomed ski runs of every level surrounded by a breathtaking landscape, excellent accommodation facilities and a lively highlife, Madonna di Campiglio is with good reason one of the best ski resorts of the Dolomites. Connected with the ski center of Folgarida Marilleva, it has some of the most famous ski runs in the world, like the 3Tre - Miramonti, where every year the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup takes place. Alpine skiing and snowboarding are the main sports practiced here, and the many ski schools have professional instructors and FIS trainers specialized in every discipline, from ski carving to telemark skiing, from freeride to freestyle. There are also special lessons for kids and disabled, and pro ski training lessons.
Pinzolo ski area
The ski area of Pinzolo lies Trentino, in the Val Rendena valley, near the renowned tourist resort of Madonna di Campiglio, in the nature reserve of the Parco Naturale Adamello Brenta, surrounded by the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello and Presanella groups.
The Pinzolo-Doss del Sabion ski area offers more than 30 km of slopes on the Doss del Sabion, fully equipped with programmed snow and served by modern lifts, with the possibility of reaching the remaining 120 km of the Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta ski area via the eight-seater gondola with automatic hook-up Pinzolo - Campiglio Express.
There are three of the most famous slopes of this area, representing a real challenge for skiers: the Tulot Audi quattro® slope with 2,600 m of length and over 900 m of altitude difference, the Tracciato DoloMitica Tour 5,750 m long with 800 m of altitude difference and the Tracciato DoloMitica Star 3,455 m long with 800 m of altitude difference.
Folgarida-Marilleva ski area
The Folgarida - Marilleva ski resort offers 36 ski slopes, two of which are illuminated, for 63 km of descents served by 25 modern lifts: a real paradise for lovers of alpine skiing and snowboarding. There are 4 cable cars to reach this large ski area, in Daolasa and Marilleva.
Reaching the slopes is very easy thanks also to the first connection in Italy that combines rubber-railway-railways: the DOLOMITI EXPRESS, the train that from the station of Trento leads directly to the boarding level of the 8-seater gondola in Daolasa through which, from the centre of Val di Sole, you can reach 2,040 m. in just 12 minutes. Very beautiful is the black slope that descends from Monte Spolverino to Folgarida, recommended for experts with its 1,850 m of length and 554 m of difference in altitude.
