Ski area Agordino

Agordino is surrounded by the imposing peaks of Agner, Pale di San Lucano and Moiazza. The area is very appreciated for summer hikes and climbs. In winter, it offers a small ski area in Forcella Aurine, which lies only 13 km away from the main city, called Agordo. Cross-country skiers too will find some beautiful rings.

The ski area Forcella Aurine lies in the municipality of Gosaldo, and can be reached from Agordo or from Primiero, through the Passo Cereda. Even if it features just a few slopes and lift facilities, it is appreciated for its easy slopes (one of them is floodlit), which are easy to reach and very close to the car park. They are suitable for both downhill run and snowboard, and there you can organize group competitions. The slopes are served by a snowmaking plat and there is also a ski school and a ski rental service.

If you prefer cross country skiing, you can choose between the easy ring in Forcella Aurine and the trail of medium difficulty in Val Bordina, in the municipality of La Valle Agordina, with three different rings, one of which is floodlit at night. Passo Duran, Frassenè, Gosaldo and Val Corpassa are a paradise for ski mountaineers. If you prefer trying more technical slopes or trails, the ski areas of Falcade, Alleghe, Zoldo and San Martino di Castrozza are close at hand.

More than skiing

The beautiful and quiet landscapes in Agordino are perfect for quiet walks. For example in Frassenè you can take the Scarpa Hut and from there on hike with snowshoes on the meadows surrounding the Agner chain.

If you like ice skating, in Agordo you will find a beautiful ice arena.
