Take off your shoes, walk barefoot on the ground and, after a good walk, dip them in the stream. Have you ever tried it? Have you ever felt that sensation of well-being in your feet that are as good as new and all the swelling disappears? Walking barefoot regenerates your whole body. First of all, it helps you rebalance your posture, because it allows you to use your entire plantar arch, whereas shoes tend to shift all your weight onto your heel. Secondly, it helps to reactivate your circulation and allows you to exercise your foot muscles.
San Martino di Castrozza inaugurated the new project "Barefoot Trail - Paths to walk barefoot", created by the Barefoot Academy "Il silenzio dei passi" by the writer Andrea Bianchi in collaboration with the APT of San Martino di Castrozza, Passo Rolle, Primiero and Vanoi.
Three paths have been identified and signposted with a dedicated board with indications in Italian and English and a QR code:
- Deer path - from Malga Ces (+ 250 m - 3.2 km)
- Hunter path - from Maso Col (+ 370 m - 4 km)
- Pian di Cavallazza loop - from Malga Ces (+ 470 m - 6.3 km)
The Barefoot Trail invites hikers to try this barefoot experience on their own.
Also in the Primiero area, precisely in Navoi, just a few minutes from Fiera di Primiero, the Belvedere Enrica Gardens are an outdoor wellness oasis with paths dedicated to psychophysical wellbeing. Here you will find Acqua Therapy, Kneipp therapy, aromatherapy, flower beds, fitness equipment, a yoga platform and multi-sensory passages.
All surrounded by a unique panorama, that of the Pale di San Martino!
