Berghotel Sanví

Surrounded by larch and fir forests, the Berghotel Sanvì is located in San Martino in Badia, one of the most unspoilt and peaceful places in Val Badia. The hotel accepts families with children from 8 years of age.

Nestled between the Puez-Odle and Fanes Senes Braies nature parks and the Plan de Corones and Alta Badia ski resorts, the hotel is an ideal base for hiking or biking in summer and snowshoeing or ski touring in winter. There is also a ski bus stop in front of the hotel.

The hotel's name, Sanví, tells the story of the 'mountain lily', a beautiful flower that can be admired with a bit of luck in the surrounding meadows and pastures higher up, at the foot of the majestic Sass de Pütia. These flowers come in a variety of shades ranging from red to orange and are a protected species, so it is not permitted to pick them.

Sanvì offers three categories of rooms furnished in spruce and larch and equipped with all amenities. The categories are named after the nature that surrounds us, namely 'Scent of Meadows', 'Mountain View' and 'Dolomite Air'. Most have balconies with unparalleled views of the surrounding nature.

At the Berghotel Sanvì a good morning starts with a delicious breakfast prepared with local ingredients. The butter, eggs, yoghurt, cheese and honey come strictly from their own land. Fresh milk is supplied by the dairy in Brunico, while the bread is fresh and crusty from the valley baker. Of course, homemade bread is not to be missed, along with cakes and jams made from freshly picked blueberries, currants, strawberries, apricots and plums. In the evenings, you can enjoy excellent local dishes flavoured with mountain herbs and accompanied by treasures from the home garden. There is also a natural stone fountain with fresh spring water in the dining room.

On the top floor of the hotel there is a small sauna area with a view of the mountains and equipped with a Finnish bio sauna, infrared cabin, relaxation area and herbal tea corner.
