Dolomiti Wellness Hotel Fanes
The luxurious superior four-star Dolomiti Wellness Hotel Fanes, with a familial atmosphere, is one of the most historic hotels in Alta Badia. Opened in 1957, the elegant building with wood paneling and stone was originally a 1560s farm, still partially recognizable in the old front door next to the parlors of the hotel, which also dates back to the sixteenth century.
Located in one of the more panoramic terraces of San Cassiano and surrounded by the Dolomites of Alta Badia, it enjoys spectacular views of the peaks of the Lagazuoi, Sassongher, Conturines, and the Sella Group. Activities for all in summer: trekking, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, climbing, golf, and much more. Winter is a skier's paradise with over 130 km of slopes, including the famous Sellaronda, the Great War Tour, and the Gran Risa. Not only skiing, but also cross-country skiing, sleigh rides, carriage rides, and snowshoeing are available.
The original rooms and suites are equipped with bathroom with shower or bath, LCD TV, safe, Wi-Fi, and most have a balcony. For those who prefer comfort and tranquility, the new chalets furnished in Alpine-style and equipped with every comfort are ideal.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and guests can enjoy: a tasty breakfast with homemade cakes, a delicious 5-course menu, and a buffet of salads, cheeses, and desserts. All dishes are made with locally sourced organic ingredients. Themed evenings, gala dinners, and tastings of wines from the cellars are also organized.
The brand new 2000 sq. meter wellness center is the perfect place to relax and pamper yourself with the world of saunas, Jacuzzi, Turkish baths, panoramic relaxation area with vitality corner, cardio-fitness room, outdoor heated pool, garden pool with salt water, indoor pool, massages, and treatments.
In addition: free shuttle bus, tips and information about various sports, kids club, conference hall, private lessons with ski instructor available upon reservation, garage, electric car charging station, helipad, free rental of Nordic walking poles, backpacks, and mountain bikes.
