Lake of deers in Pellizzano in Val di Sole at an altitude of 1,280 metres is a characteristic alpine lake, a panoramic viewpoint and starting point for excursions at medium altitude. It is the perfect destination for a picnic, a walk or a family outing.
It is an artificial basin located in Fazzon and can be reached by car following the tarmac road for 6 kilometres starting from Pellizzano. The road climbs for about 4 and a half kilometres from the village with several hairpin bends.
It can also be reached on foot along the Sentiero degli Gnomi (Gnome Trail), a themed trail that takes its name from the sculptures made of wood, stone and other natural materials inspired by the gnomes of the forest. The itinerary starts from the second hairpin bend on the road leading to Fazzon-Lago dei Caprioli, from where the educational path "Sentiero degli Gnomi" starts, leading first to Malga Bassa, the Park Visitor Centre.
