It lies near the village of Brusago, in the valley between the village and the maso dei Moscati. It is an old abandoned basin. It was drained in 1925 after the construction of the canal of the hydroelectric basin of the Lake of the Piazza. At the moment it isn't deeper than one metre and a half. However it is possible to practice swimming in summer and ice-skating in winter, when its surface is covered with ice.
