San Pellegrino Pass: sunny ski runs and historical trails
San Pellegrino Pass: sunny ski runs and historical trails. Fresh air, sun, peace, perfectly groomed ski runs and trails in the nature: welcome to the San Pellegrino Pass. In summer or in winter let yourself be tempted by the many offers of this mountain pass: skiing and trekking in the battlefields of the First World War.
Winter holidays in Passo San Pellegrino
On the border between the Trentino region and the province of Belluno, 11 km from Moena, the San Pellegrino Pass in winter is a great winter sports resort: as part of the Tre Valli ski area, it offers modern lift facilities and 64 km of sunny ski runs of different levels. The pass is connected to Falcade through the Col Margerita cableway, and to Moena on the Lusia Alp through a ski bus service. Moreover, the three ski areas form an exciting ski tour, the Ski Tour of Emotions, while wonderful cross-country skiing trails surrounded by enchanted forests are found in the renowned Alochet center.
Summer holidays in Passo San Pellegrino
After the snow has melted, during spring and summer holidays you can walk on the many nature trails, like the ones going up the side of the Costabella, in the Monzoni and the Cima Bocche Group, where you can also follow and admire trenches and galleries of the First World War. Other interesting trails are found in the Cima Bocche area and in the Col Margerita area, from where you can reach a charming tarn.
There are also many historical trails: here in fact you can see the ancient pilgrim hospice, shelter for the pilgrims arriving in the Agordino, the area surrounding the village of Agordo, and the church of St. Anthony of Padua.
