On 13 October, the big apple festival will take place in Naz-Sciaves in the Isarco Valley.
The festival starts in the morning with music, 'Brezeln' and Bavarian sausages. In the afternoon, the big parade kicks off. The reigning queen and the pretenders to the title are accompanied by marching bands and festively decorated floats through the streets of Naz. The float with the giant crown of red and yellow apples cannot be missed.
Then the new apple queen is crowned, who for a year will represent the Naz-Sciaves plateau and the whole of South Tyrol on numerous occasions in Italy and abroad. With the traditional cutting of the strudel, the office of apple queen will officially begin.
