The Prettau Mining Museum in the Ahrntal Valley in South Tyrol recounts centuries of mining history, taking visitors inside the mine galleries for a unique experience that gives a clear picture of the difficult working conditions of the past. Together with the Granary Museum in Cadipietra, opened in autumn 2000, where you can admire the collection of objects linked to the mining activity of the Enzenberg counts, the museum in Predoi forms a perfect combination to learn all about the world of mining in the Aurina Valley. Both are part of the South Tyrolean Provincial Mining Museum.
