In winter, the Fassa Valley, part of the Dolomiti Superski, is a true paradise for winter sports lovers. Fans of cross-country skiing can take advantage of the Ciancoal ring, at the bottom of the Pozza di Fassa valley, or the high altitude slopes of the Alochet cross-country center and the San Pellegrino Pass.
The ski and snowboard slopes can be easily reached thanks to the shuttle service offered by Hotel Maria, which can be booked the day before at the hotel reception. In just 10 minutes you will find yourself at the foot of the Catinaccio, Alpe Lusia or the Ski Center Latemar, and it only takes 20 minutes to reach the San Pellegrino Pass and the Belvedere Ski Area, the starting point of the Sellaronda ski tour.
