From 8 to 12 November 2024, the Merano WineFestival, now in its 33 edition, takes place. Four intense days with over 500 wineries, among the best in Italy and the world, 200 artisans of taste and 15 top chefs.
New this year is the FuoriSalone, an itinerary created ad hoc to offer the public the opportunity to enjoy moments of leisure and entertainment always under the banner of elegance and high quality products.
On the opening day, a space will be dedicated to organic, biodynamic, natural, 'orange' and PIWI (disease-resistant grape varieties) wines. During the festival there will also be the GourmetArena, designed for lovers of gastronomic delicacies, and The Circle, a space dedicated to storytelling, entertainment and sharing. This will be followed by a series of guided tastings of excellent national and international wines as part of Masterclasses. Closing the festival with a flourish will be Catwalk Champagne, a parade of well over 250 champagnes from 50 of France's most famous wineries. The locations of the event are: Kurhaus, Passer Promenade, Corso Libertà, Hotel Therme Merano, Piazza della Rena and Teatro Puccini.
Thanks to the WineHunter HUB platform, created a year ago for the 29th digital edition of the Festival, it will also be possible to follow the event online and virtually meet the producers.
