As every year, the Chestnut Festival, an event about the chestnut and its precious spiny fruit, will take place in autumn - this time from mid October till the beginning of November - in the surroundings of Lana. The chestnut and its ancient tradition in the South Tyrolean culture are honoured in the village and its surroundings.
There will be guided tours with tastings trough the chestnuts forest, at the discovery of this fruit cultivation and the importance of the chestnuts tree in nature, several menus with chestnut and wines in the restaurants of the surroundings of Lana, as well as a market with South Tyrolean autumn products.
