This themed route offers a tour to the viewing platform set up above 2,000 m on the Latemar Dolomite massif. From here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Latemar rock faces, the expanse of meadows, pastures and forests of the Val d'Ega and all the other Alpine peaks. In addition, a 360° panoramic map shows the peaks, indicating their exact position in relation to the observer's perspective, helping to orientate easily among the mountain ranges of the Central Alps and to recognise the different mountains.
The Oberholz lift takes you up to the viewing point, and trail no. 18 starts just 5 minutes from the top station. If you take the Latemar chairlift, the walk takes about 50 minutes.
