hike at the Piz da Peres

The Piz da Peres (2,507 m) is a beautiful panoramic peak in the Olang Dolomites. It starts at the Furcia pass. The first part of the route is on a forest road, then you continue along a path through the forest and cross part of the Pre da Peres track. Coming out of the forest, the climb is for a stretch less steep and you can enjoy an exceptional view of Plan de Corones and the mountains of Val Badia.

Continue on a much rockier path, for a few stretches it is necessary to hold onto the rocks, but it is not risky! Continue along this path until you reach the cross at the summit, where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Fanes-Sennes-Prags mountains, the Zillertal and Tauern alps.

Return: after the first descent across a meadow, you reach a scree strip. Continue on forest paths to the starting point.
