There are many theme trails in and around Bruneck/Brunico to explore with the whole family or on your own.
Art Trail
The Art Trail demonstrates that art and nature can coexist side by side until they merge into a harmonious symbiosis. Around Reischach there are unusual artistic objects that can sometimes only be noticed by the attentive hiker.
Trail of legends
The municipality of San Lorenzo boasts a large number of legends. To make this treasure known to the public, the Trail of Legends was created. Let yourself be inspired by captivating tales!
Archaeological Panoramic Trail
As you walk, you will discover traces from the Bronze, Iron and Roman Ages, illustrated on explanatory boards along the trail in San Lorenzo. 16 synoptic boards arranged along the trail provide all the most salient information on the archaeological sites and the objects found there, which are currently preserved in the Mansio Sebatum museum.
Bunker hike
The circular route starts in the centre of the village of Mantana near San Lorenzo and leads through mostly flat meadows and forests, passing various defensive structures:
Bunker No. 10
The bunker that can be visited is Bunker No. 10 - which was already fully operational in 1942. Bunker No. 10 was also equipped with weapons (cannons and machine guns) and even prepared for a possible attack with nuclear weapons. Today, the bunker is privately owned and guided tours are organised for residents and tourists on request.
'Genussbunker' - bunker of taste
A tunnel carved into the rock, a remnant of the Second World War, is used today for the maturing of South Tyrolean and international cheese specialities. The so-called 'Genussbunker' in Mantana is the first in South Tyrol to be adapted for the ageing, maturing and storage of cheese specialities.
Honey hill
The so-called Honey Hill extends between Haselried and Falzes, above the road to Terento. It owes its name to the particularly sunny side that, being well suited to beekeeping, has always stood out for the abundant production of honey.
Landart route
Landart is art in the midst of nature and with nature, nature is its space. With various materials and techniques, the artists create unique works in Falzes using what nature offers and integrating artistic notes.
Path of the Four Churches
The Trail of the Four Churches crosses the natural and cultural landscapes of the Val Pusteria, following the coast halfway up the mountain. The churches of San Valentino in Grimaldo, San Ciriaco in Falzes, San Nicolò in Issengo and San Giovanni in Hasenried are special and clearly visible signposts.

If you walk with your eyes wide open, in the surroundings of Falzes you must always compare with the "stone" material in all its many variations. The stones that accompany us along this thematic path around Falzes are very ancient.
