The rich, various flora and vegetation, due to the heterogeneous morphological and microclimatic conformation of the area, make a visit to the Natural Park Adamello-Brenta particularly fascinating.
Almost a third of its area is covered with woods and forests: in the lower altimetrical areas there are majestic specimens of maple, cornel, hazel and oak.
As one goes up to the higher zones, one meets instead numerous beeches, larches and conifers.
Beyond the limit of arboreal vegetation, the tundra-arctic-alpine zone extends, where "twisted shrubs" stand out such as mountain pines, rhododendrons, Alpine azaleas and creeping willows.
Further beyond there is the zone of Alpine grassland which is peopled by herbaceous plants and by numerous species of flowers.
