South Tyrol
Tre Cime/3 Zinnen area in Alta Pusteria
The area of the Tre Cime/3 Zinnen in Alta Pusteria has 200 km of slopes and is considered the n.1 region in Italy for cross-country skiing:
- Dobbiaco: Cross-country skiing stadium with 120 km of slopes of different difficulty levels.
- Sesto - San Candido: 79 km, of which the longest is 20 km. The 6 km long ski run in Val Fiscalina was suggestive.
- Villabassa - Braies: about 70 km of slopes leading to Lake Braies or Prato Piazza
Val Gardena - Alpe di Siusi
A paradise for cross-country skiing. Cross-country trails of varying difficulty reach about 133 km, if we include Alpe di Siusi. Very beautiful rings can also be found in the "DVS Nordic Active Park" centre in Vallunga with 19 km of trails and in the cross-country centre in Monte Pana with trails from 1 to 8 km. The Pra da Rì cross-country ring is a 10 km long track with 200 m of altitude difference that will make you discover the whole Vallunga.
Alpe di Siusi is the best cross-country skiing area in South Tyrol where both professionals and beginners can satisfy their needs. For those who don't want to go very high, in Castelrotto you will find lifts of easy and medium difficulty.

Isarco Valley (BZ)
In the Isarco Valley there are 240 km of perfectly groomed cross-country ski runs to ensure maximum skiable conditions. All slopes are in a panoramic position and snow is guaranteed!
Between Laion and Colle Isarco there are 20 slopes. The highest cross-country ski run is located at 2,000 metres on Passo Erbe and has an altitude difference of 300 metres.

Trentino
San Martino di Castrozza - Passo Rolle
30 km of well groomed trails, both classic and skating, await cross-country skiers in San Martino-Passo Rolle:

- Cross-country skiing centre Passo Cereda (15 Km);
- Calaita lake Cross-country Ski Centre (8 Km);

Val di Fiemme
The real paradise is the Lavazé Pass with high altitude routes through woods and meadows. For years, cross-country skiing trails have also been set up at Lago di Tesero. There are numerous trails connected to each other, also in Predazzo (trails connected to the Marcialonga slope) and Bellamonte, of medium difficulty. In Predazzo there is the Jump Stadium, used exclusively for competitions and training.
The snow is natural and 3 kilometres of track are illuminated; it is possible to practice both the classic and the free technique. The equipment can be hired.

The Marcialonga, the event that at the end of January involves thousands of cross-country skiing enthusiasts, features the Val di Fiemme. On the route between Cavalese and Canazei, 4000/5000 competitors ski for 70 km.

In Palus San Marco there is the Somadida Forest, the largest forest in the Cadore area, which in winter becomes a renowned centre for cross-country skiing.
