In Val di Fiemme there are 150 km of tracks for cross-country skiers, divided between the cross-country centre of Lavazè and Lago di Tesero and the Bellamonte rings, situated in the valley floor near the Marcialonga slope.
Lavazè cross-country centre
Lavazè cross-country centre is, since always, the reference of all those who love cross-country ski. Easily reachable from the main centres of the area and few kilometres far from the motorway exits, it is equipped with several facilities, among which you can find also a good ski wax room, a guest room with toilets and showers, a wide room for prize-giving and a big car park. The recent link to Occlini, a little higher place, has furtherly increased the number of possible itineraries guaranteeing the possibility of skiing until spring.
From Lavazè, it is possible to reach Aldino cross-country centre and the famous Pietralba Sanctuary.
Tesero Lago cross-country centre
Home of the 2026 Winter Olympics
It offers 18 km of perfectly groomed slopes, thanks to snowmaking, suitable for everyone from experts to beginners. The Nordic World Ski Championships were held here three times, in 1991, 2003 and 2013. It will be one of several venues for the Milan-Cortina2026 Winter Olympics.
The Centre offers a great variety of tracks divided into numerous sectors and is connected to the Marcialonga track, one of the most popular cross-country skiing races in the world, which offers the possibility of having more than 8 km of an almost flat track, both in the direction of Predazzo and in the opposite direction, towards Molina di Fiemme.
Finally, the tracks that run along the larch and fir woods near Bellamonte and along the rings of Predazzo, Ziano, Masi di Cavalese and Molina connected with the legendary Marcialonga track are very popular. It is also possible to ski at night, twice a week.
The Sports Center at Lago di Tesero also has an ice rink, rentals, showers, toilets, waxing rooms, changing rooms and a restaurant.
