After the Starlight Room 360, Cortina d'Ampezzo presents the latest new entry with a Nordic saga-like setting of whitewashed walls, spires and rocky pinnacles. The perfect place for smart working without giving up a holiday and a breathtaking view. This is the Panoramic Business Room in the shape of a parallelepiped with transparent walls and equipped with fast Wi-Fi internet connection, sockets for recharging electronic devices, heating and sound systems and a desk with an ergonomic chair. The project was conceived by Raniero Campigotto, the owner of the Col Gallina Refuge.
The environment is sanitised on a daily basis and there is a webcam to monitor the weather conditions on site, before deciding to go there.
Its surface area of 5 square metres allows access to one person at a time, the cost is €120 per day after booking at the Col Gallina Refuge. The cost includes everything you need for a hearty breakfast, both sweet and savoury, for a typical local aperitif with a mixed board and a bottle of Prosecco, and for a hot meal.
Are you attracted by the idea of working for a day in the snow and the Dolomites? Here the panorama is simply magnificent! You can enjoy a 360° view of the Lagazuoi, Sass de Stria, the Tofane, the Sella Group and the Marmolada. Moreover, the "Panoramic Business Room" is equipped with skates, more precisely with old recovered guard-rails that allow you to slide on the white blanket, to change scenery and view.
How to get to the Panoramic Business Room
Either on skis or snowboard, and with a single ski pass, from Cortina, Val Badia, Val Gardena and Val di Fassa (all parts of the Dolomiti Superski ski area) when the lifts are back in operation. Or with snowshoes and ski mountaineering skis along the 3 km path with 400 metres of altitude difference starting from the Col Gallina Refuge.
The only restriction is that you have to descend by light in complete safety. A torch and snowshoes are provided and, if necessary, assistance by snowmobile.
