The Averau Hut in Cortina d'Ampezzo has obtained the recognition of "The most beautiful skies in Italy" - GOLD, the highest level awarded by Astronomitaly - The Network of Astronomical Tourism.
The certification aims to promote places with a low percentage of light pollution, where it is still possible to admire a quality starry sky.
The Averau Hut, at an altitude of 2,416 metres, is a popular tourist destination in both summer and winter, and now also stands out as one of the best places in Italy in which to observe the firmament and experience emotions under the starry sky.
