Chiusa is a small village in Valle Isarco which was acknowledged as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. From the end of November to the last Advent Sunday, it hosts an original Christmas Market set in the Middle Ages. In the historical lanes you will find about 20 exhibitors in period costume.
The Christmas Village of Klausen will be on stage from 29 November to 22 December 2024, from Friday to Sunday, from 10 am to 7 pm.

Medieval Christmas | 29.11 - 01.12.2024
Medieval opening with parade
The Christmas village Klausen will be ceremoniously opened with a parade on Saturday, 30th November at 4:30 pm. Be there when noble knights, eerie witches, daring miners, resilient farmers, magnificent horse-drawn carriages, mysterious night watchmen, and enchanting figures herald the Christmas season.
Medieval encampment
Flames flicker in the encampment. Just like in the Middle Ages, meals are cooked over an open fire while ancient crafts are demonstrated.
Children's Christmas | 06. - 08.12.2024
St. Nicholas Parade
On December 6th, St. Nicholas visits Klausen's old town at 3:30 pm, bringing lovely greetings.
The living nativity looking for lodging
On December 7th and 8th, at 3 and 5 pm, Mary and Joseph traverse the picturesque corners of Klausen with shepherds and donkeys, telling the story of Jesus' birth.
Be Creative
On December 7th and 8th, you can live out your creativity in the Christmas card printing workshop and in the baking Christmas cookies workshop.
