Cadipetra: Klausberg ski area and mining museum

The picturesque village of Cadipietra lies in the heart of Valle Aurina and is connected directly by a cableway to the trekking and ski area Klausberg. Therefore it offers trekking paths and snow fun, but also history and culture.

In summer you will have the opportunity to discover the hikes to Monte Chiusetta and to the lake, admiring the Zillertaler Alps and the Vedrette di Ries, whereas in winter you will enjoy the broad choice of slopes and trails in the area.

The town center is also worth visiting: you can admire the historical buildings, such as the Farmer's house, an old stone building, from which the name of the village derives, hosting the town hall, with many paintings and precious architectural elements, as well as different churches and chapels and the Mining Museum in the granary, testifying the historical copper mining activity, which promoted the development of the village for four centuries.
