From 19 April to 29 June, the Fulcis Museum will host 92 works from the Rosini Gutman collection dedicated to the extraordinary art of Andy Warhol. This exceptional exhibition comes to Belluno thanks to the commitment of a group of entrepreneurs who have worked together to bring to the city an important opportunity for artistic and cultural insight into one of the 20th century's greatest innovators.
The exhibition, entitled ‘Andy Warhol - LOVE POP - Icons and Masterpieces’, aims to emphasise not only the value of the works on display, but also the significance of collaboration and belonging to a community. At a time when divisions and individualism are often highlighted, this initiative demonstrates how art can be an element of unity, thanks to the contribution of private individuals who have invested in a cultural project for their city.
The invitation is addressed to art lovers, citizens and anyone who wants to be part of this experience.
The exhibition, set up on the third floor of the Museo Civico di Palazzo Fulcis, will present not only Warhol's most famous works, but also a lesser known perspective of the artist, showing his total immersion in pop culture. In addition to silkscreens and lithographs of iconic subjects, the public will be able to admire rarer pieces, including album covers made for legendary bands such as the Rolling Stones and the Velvet Underground, memorabilia and works that highlight Warhol's extraordinary versatility.
