Experiences to be had at Passo delle Erbe
The Mountain Lodge Ütia de Börz is the starting point for a multitude of activities in all seasons, such as walks, hiking trails and mountain bike routes of all degrees of difficulty, to be tackled solo, with family or in company. The more daredevils love Passo delle Erbe for climbing the majestic Sass de Putia. In winter, you can go cross-country skiing or sledging, or immerse yourself in the silence of the snow-covered woods and meadows with snowshoes or on foot.
Experiences not to be missed include a hike to the Roda de Pütia, a panoramic hike with a view of the Lungiarü valley, cycling tours in Val di Funes, winter trekking to Monte Muro, a visit to the Museum Ladin Ciastel de Tor, sunrise from Sas de Putia and a moonlight walk.
Mountain Lodge Ütia de Börz
The Mountain Lodge Ütia de Börz at 2,006 m above sea level is located at the top of the Passo delle Erbe, at the gateway to the Puez-Odle Nature Park and opposite the Sas de Putia. Situated in a quiet location and surrounded by breathtaking views, the hut is the ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours, via ferrata and climbing. In winter, cross-country skiing and tobogganing tracks are in the immediate vicinity. It is also a paradise for those who enjoy snowshoeing in the silence of nature.
The hut has three types of accommodation: a double room with a private bathroom, a family room with a double bed and an attic loft with two single beds, and a dormitory with bunk beds, divided into rooms, and a shared bathroom.
The hut with its large windows and panoramic terrace is the ideal place to start the day in the best possible way. Whether it is the beginning of a new adventure in the Dolomites, breakfast is fundamental, a true moment of peace and serenity that the staff wants to transmit to each guest. Proposals range from coffee with brioche to eggs with bacon to yoghurt and fruit.
The restaurant is also perfect for a brunch or lunch at high altitude, where you can enjoy excellent traditional local dishes made from fresh, quality ingredients. You will be immersed in an unforgettable culinary journey of flavours and views.
