Skitour Panorama in Val di Fassa

In Val di Fassa, in addition to the famous Sellaronda and Grande Guerra circuits, you can experience whole days on skis without ever repeating the same slope, thanks to two different ring routes. One of these is the Skitour Panorama, which covers 70 km of slopes and connects three ski areas in the valley: Ciampedie, Buffaure-Ciampac and Belvedere-Col Rodella. This skitour, a variant of the Sellaronda, can be travelled both clockwise and anticlockwise. Starting from Vigo, you can take the cable car up to the natural viewpoint of Ciampedie and ski between the peaks of Catinaccio, where King Laurin is said to have reigned. Before returning to Vigo along the famous Thöni slope, with its wide hairpin bends, you can continue on to Pian Piacei. From here, the blue Vajolet 1 and Vajolet 2 trails will take you directly to Pera, without having to turn back.

From Vigo or Pera, a convenient ski bus will take you to Pozza-Media, the starting point of the Buffaure cable car. From Col de Valvacin, with a breathtaking view of Val San Nicolò and the Monzoni chain, descend towards Val Jumela. With the chairlift you easily reach Sella Brunéch. A long descent awaits you on the Ciampac slopes, with views of the Sella and Pordoi peaks. Crossing a black slope of almost 3 km in the forest, you will arrive in Alba. From here, the funifor will take you in a few minutes to Col dei Rossi, in the Belvedere-Canazei ski area, from where you can admire the magnificent snow-capped peaks of the Dolomites. Before arriving at Pian Frataces-Lupo Bianco, ski for over 5 km on slopes of medium difficulty. With the Pradel gondola lift you can cross to the opposite side, reaching Col Rodella (Campitello), one of the entrances to the Sellaronda.
